Heritage: Reviews & Ratings
Michelin Bib Gourmand award is well deserved! Heritage exceeded expectations! I have wanted to try Heritage ever since I heard it had received its Michelin Bib Gourmand award, and I am delighted to say I was not disappointed! The restaurant has a wonderful, bustling atmosphere. While it is small and feels a bit crowded, they make excellent use of the space, which speaks to its popularity. The staff was fantastic—friendly and attentive, including servers who were not specifically assigned to our table. We genuinely felt welcomed throughout our meal. Our server was exceptional, explaining the menu and offering recommendations that proved to be spot on. The food was absolutely outstanding. The rigatoni with pancetta, peas in a brown butter and sage sauce was easily 5 stars. We also ordered the Melazane Pizza (grilled eggplant, caramelized onions, fresh mozzarella, whipped ricotta, and basil), which was another clear win. They served us a nice, crisp bottled natura water, which had a $2.00 charge on the final bill—a minor, unexpected line item, but the price was perfectly fine. Considering how delicious the food and how superb the service is, I wouldn't be surprised if they outgrow their current location soon. I highly recommend dining here and experiencing this incredible meal for yourself.
It's simply incredible to have a Michelin-recognized restaurant just blocks away from home! Heritage is truly a Flagler Village jewel. No wonder it's always been busy, but I'm glad we waited for the hype to settle down a little before making a reservation for my wedding anniversary. It was a real celebration: we started off with drinks, while we waited for our table. My wife got the "Tell your Friends" (decaf espresso martini) and I had a basic Gin & Tonic. Both were very refreshing and prepared to perfection, so we had a second round after dinner. We also tried their Aperol Spritz, which they make in-house and it was outstanding too. We saw a bunch of tables having pizza, which looked and smelled terrific, but we were really there to try their pasta. We both love wagyu beef, so we were happy to see the Sweet Long Pepper in the menu. It was a great starter and a big heads up of what we had coming next. For mains, I ordered the Spicy Penne Alla Vodka and my wife got the Paccheri Alla Capricciosa. We had to share and rotate each others plates because our brains were literally blown with every bite. This was a Tuesday and the restaurant was totally busy, so expect it to be loud, but ultimately we feel it just adds to the charm, as you are sitting right next to the wood-fired pizza oven and you can peek at how much action and passion is flowing inside the kitchen, as the plates keep coming out quickly in "Overcooked" fashion. Rino, the head chef was right there overlooking the whole entire operation, so I had to go and personally congratulate him for a concept so well executed. Kudos to him, the staff and everyone involved!
Celebrated my boyfriend’s birthday on sunday & everything was amazing! The food was delicious and everyone was very welcoming. We had the Calamari + the stuffed pepper & the Arancini to start…all very tasty! For entrees we ordered two pizzas, the mushrooms + short rib & probably one of the best bolognese my boyfriend has tried. For dessert we had the tiramisu with brownie & just WOW. We usually never make it to dessert since we order so much food but we had to try this one & we’re glad we did. Chef Reno is a really nice guy and came up to us to ask how everything was and even gave us a couple of drinks on the house. One of which was the best expresso martini i’ve had in my life & i’ve had quite a few. Thank you guys for the great hospitality. We will definitely make this a stop next time we’re back in florida <3
Found this place near my Airbnb and was excited by the reviews. It did not disappoint. Arrived shortly after it opened and dining seats at the bar were already full, as well as most tables. Got seated at the pizza bar and still got excellent service. Had to try the bolognese and it was divinely delicious! Asked the waiter for an Italian red wine recommendation that was smooth and he recommended the Nebbiolo, which was perfect. The chopped salad was not my fave, it had too much dressing and flavor was a bit too sharp, overly vinegary. Seems like their kale salad might be the way to go. And I want to try their pizza next time I go back!
Update 11/26/25 The heritage restaurant is one of the best restaurants in fort Lauderdale for many reasons. 1. The employees are the best. Most courteous, polite and very nice people to take care of you. 2. Don't worry if it's not on the menu Reno and his crew will take care of it. 3. I wanted to order the pasta with Bolognese, but it had cream sauce in it I don't like cream sauce. So what did they do?Hook me up big time Made me a phenomenal dish. With a marinara sauce and Rigatoni And I asked them to add a piece of sausage, and what did they do? chopped it up inside the dish? And it was amazing. I can order 10 dishes like that. very, very, extremely satisfied, thank you heritage, and all your people. I'm a handicapped person that has a hard time enjoying things. But this is one thing that I really enjoyed. We love you guys. We'll see you soon. Brenda and waterboy [Rich] You must go to this restaurant it's the best restaurant in s Florida you must try the eggplant the Pizza is phenomenal They make specialty pizzas that no one on earth makes One Taste and you will be addicted you will come back everyday like I do I can eat pizza for breakfast lunch and dinner and if I could do it there at Heritage I would all their food on the menu is special and made with love and attention to detail once you show up and eat there you will definitely make that a regular stop so tell everyone to go there and they won't be sorry they will be extremely happy
The food was delicious and the service was great. It is a little confined and very loud. I would say that the prices are a bit high for the atmosphere. If the place was a little bigger and quieter, you could definitely charge these prices with no problem. I was happy they allowed me to add chicken to my pasta dish and usually when you add something it isn’t that great, but this was really good!
We had such a wonderful experience at Heritage! Everything we ordered was delicious — the pizza, pasta, and especially the kale salad were all outstanding. Our server, Kevin, was absolutely spectacular! He gave us amazing recommendations and introduced us to their espresso martini with a salty foam — one of the best cocktails we’ve ever had. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and the service was top-notch. We’re definitely coming back soon!
I went here for my birthday lunch expecting a great meal, but I left with so much more. This restaurant delivers top-notch food at truly affordable prices, paired with an incredible ambiance. Every plate that came out impressed me, both in flavor and presentation. I had the privilege of sitting by the expo window and watching dishes being garnished and plated with such care and precision—it was a real treat to see. Chef Rino went above and beyond to make my birthday unforgettable, and I left with happy tears in my eyes. I can’t recommend this place enough, and I’ll definitely be back.
